Initial Psychiatric evaluation

During an initial 90-minute psychiatric consultation, you can expect a thorough and in-depth evaluation of your mental health and overall well-being. I’ll take the time to explore your medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and goals in detail. We’ll discuss any past treatments, medications, and how factors like sleep, physical activity, and diet play a role in your mental health. This is also a time for you to share your concerns, ask questions, and gain a clear understanding of the approach we’ll take together. By the end of the consultation, we’ll collaboratively develop an initial treatment plan tailored to your needs, whether it involves therapy, medications, lifestyle adjustments, or a combination of all three.

Psychiatric follow-up

In a follow-up 30-minute visit, we’ll check in on how you’ve been doing since our last session and evaluate the effectiveness of your treatment plan. We’ll discuss any progress you’ve made, changes in your symptoms, and how lifestyle factors like sleep, exercise, and diet have been influencing your mental health. We’ll also explore any concerns or challenges you might be facing, adjusting your plan as needed. The goal of these sessions is to stay on track, make fine-tuned adjustments, and ensure that your care remains personalized and responsive to your evolving needs.
